How to deal with blocking
Against a revenant I can handle it, because he actually has a stamina bar, but for bosses, I just can't find any way to counter it, their ki bar barely takes a hit and I spend the entirety of mine.

Magoichi was one of the hardest boss for me, until he suddenly stopped blocking for the entire fight, which made me win without even using elixir or LW.
That's how much I can't deal with it.

And in Marobashi, it slows down my farming by so much, not counting the times it kills me by tilting me into oblivion.

How can I deal with a blocking boss ?

DODGE!!

But seriously, just wait it out, manage your ki better, dodge, attack when possible.
No unneccessary risks.

Varies from boss to boss. General rule of thumb: Parry Disabled Vs Guarding Opponent on your weapon and that weapon's "Guard crush" style move (Kick on sword, God of Wind on Dual Swords, Shove on Tonfa, etc) tend to work very well. Some, like Magoichi and Kelly, are best dealt with by playing out their "block AI" if you will.

Magoichi, for example, you hit him until he blocks an attack of yours then walk around him (don't even need to dodge if you've enough run speed) as he does his counter gun shot and smack him some more. Repeat until you are low on ki or he is out of it (back away and recover ki as neccessary if former). Eventually he'll get fed up, teleport up in the air behind you. At this point you just high stance attack him out of the air (Tonfas may do better with a low stance strong attack) and final blow him for massive damage. He'll tend to just keep trying the move until he's dead or you ♥♥♥♥ up and he kills you.

If you are using a Katana, Dual sword, Spear learn to tempest/shrike/twirl, then laugh at how easy any human enemy becomes.

If you are using tonfas, get the parry disabled property or use high stance attacks and spam them with shove, watch their ki bars melt then grapple them, it will make you feel sorry for the poor bastards since you should never have to drop the aggression.

Not sure on Odachis and Axes, they deal high ki damage so you should have too much toruble breaking them with proper ki managment and use of ki pulse/ki flux.

Have 0 idea on kusarigamas, they have a parry but it doesn't cause a knock down and kusas have horrible attacks since multihits are instantly guarded by humans, almost every co-op I see tries to spam some move and pretty much always ends up with 0 ki and gets grappled.

Also Saika must be one of the easiest humans to kill, just purchease shurikens from the ninja tree, a single stack is enough, every time he flies, throw one and he will fall and be open to a finishing blow, you can also attempt attacks with a lot of vertical reach but shurikens are way easier.

First way is to use guard breaking abilities, for sword for example you have sheath slap and ki explosion, spam them until you break them and follow up with a finishing move.

Second way is to invest in break and guard penetration, it will completely rek guarding enemies.

Third is to parry or use a timely guard when they attack you.

Fourth is to charge up an ultimate and spam the living crap since blocking can't stop the combo.

Eventually guard spam just becomes a joke to punish.

Firstly. State you problem right - i can`t beat a boss, cause he blocks almost all my damage.
There are a lot of ways to deal with blockers.
1)Odachi - stupidly spam strikes, it`s breakability open enemy with some hits
2)Use guardbreak skills - sword(sword ki+kick),dual swords(god of wind + water shadow),spear(pole kick + spear bash), axe(for god sake don`t use axe ever), kusarigama(kick), odachi(tail strike + crashing waves), tonfa(shove+kick) and other
3)Weak points - just land a headshot for any people and they fall opened for Finalblow, btw Saika is a flying type so ANY hit in midair gonna drop him opened
4)Use Spirit powers with moment talisman - My favorite are Suzaku and Daiba(first deal tone ki damage+damage+scorch, second smack humanoids on the ground), others like Fuse, Raiken +Paired leave enemy open during hiits, Enko - smack with decent damage.
5)Onmyo - Lifeseal, Sloth, shockwave+any damage skill ignore block
6)pierce guard - you can have something around 50% go ignoring block with max stats

Whilst I'm no veteran in this game, I shall add a tip if you use dual swords ...

There's a skill called Moon Shadow where you go behind the enemy and give them nice whacks if they block you ... sometimes even knocking them out of Ki ;)
Zamus' advice is quite solid.

I will add that dealing with blocking enemies depends on the difficulty.

If you are at end game, most weapons aside from Tonfas (and it still takes a while) will take too long to deplete Ki.

Unless you know how to switch weapons mid-combo, how to chain attacks without being punished by the boss (hello, Jin) and have enough ki regen to sutain through it all, you are better off learning a boss' movesets and punishing him when an opening presents itself.

The 'just spam attacks until his guard breaks' is essentially throwing the kitchen sink. You will suffer a great deal for that in later difficulties unless you cheese your way through.

Different weapons of the same category have different innate break stats.
