Here's my first combat attempt with White Tiger at Demon of Mount Hiei (NG+ Level 185) for laughs :)

Comments on what I did good or bad are welcome, except for cheesing comments - don't believe I cheesed anyway.

Yeah, I prefer to hit his side or back except he jumps around too fast. Also, did you see what he did when I poke swords into his anus?

Considering about half of his health was depleted only thanks to LW, yeah you kinda cheesed it.

This boss is easier to kill if you face him head on, dodge one swipe then attack his right eye, it prevents him from trying to swipe at you and deals a lot of ki damage, staying on his side or back is a very bad idea, you might survive them now but later on these are one hit kill moves.

OK, will poke his right eye when we meet again but LW is my spirit bondage and I don't wanna go retrieve my grave and get killed ;P

Dont use that dodge roll if you wants to fight anything upclose. Just use block, tap evade, this gives you 2 layer of protections. If you evade successfully u just lose a little bit of ki. If you failed the evade u take some ki dmg , instead of hp. That dodge roll will leaves you completely exposed if you miss the timing.

Aren't you the one who was my co-op visitor? I used ki reduction & damage reductuion on White tiger. Also how do signpost talismans work? I had 3 on ground but I died.

Is Evade same as Dodge except you Guard before pressing A button?

Oh, were you my host last night but got killed by the cat? I told Karn I was summoned by you to fight kitty cat as she was recording her solo fight with it too. What a coincidence :)

I find Ki reduction is good but not so much with Damage Reduction unless you wear divine or above Heavy armor.

Signpost talismans are just marker points or bread crumbs. Curious, did they show on your radar after you were revived?

u can evade without guard too, just not as safe :/
as long you roll = dodge.
evade is just taking a small hop/swift sidestep in whichever direction u input it.
