So I finally completed the subject mission last night after purchased/downloaded on PC release date.

I did the mission solo and died multiple times - half killed by yokai and the half from falling. The arena's environment can be as deadly as Umi-Bozu's. Started with 3 amigos and ...

ended by myself towards the end as expected. Was Okatsu happy not to come along if Hanzo didn't come?

Took the opportunity to farm worthy revenants along the way when there were 3 of us as it was easier using the falling arena to our advantage ;P

Surprised myself by defeating Oda and Edward (in human form) solo except ran out of elixirs and rejuvenate jutsu after killing 2.9 serpent heads. Fortunately, Karn was online and freely came to my aid in defeating the 5 headed serpent.

After the battle, Karn automatically departed and I was transported to a beach where I saw all greens on the sand :) Got my favorite dual swords as divine except it had 6 instead of 7 special effects. Did anyone get armor or just weapons? Sorted out what to do with the loot but will have to reforge and familiarise them later.

When do I get to use 2 guardian spirits - after Queen's Eye? Also, I haven't unlocked NG+ until Queen's Eye is completed, right?

All in all, I found the story quite simple and predictable except for Oda's action which surprised Edward too. Didn't quite get what was it about when Hanzo asked Okatsu "You sure about this?" and Okatsu said William was just like any samurai - no affection or something to that effect? Did she have feelings for him?

Grats on beating the base game, now you get to tackle the obnoxiously difficult DLC sub-areas and then do it all again on NG+

I think Okatsu still thinks you are a common drunken idiot, far worse than a drunken samurai, of course. You silly drunken fool, you. We need drunken boxing combat arts now

Orochi drops a divine of each weapon type but no armor and I believe Okatsu just views yo uas just another samurai since you leave her to go hunt down the next dude that you fight in the queens eye instead of staying in japan wiht Okatsu. And don't get your hopes up for any continuation of Okatsu's story in the dlcs because she isn't even brought up.

Oh but she looked sad after William left and remembered Willy saving her life in a loving embrace when she fell ;P

Edit: Will I still get divine item drops before doing Queen's Eye and which mission did you say we can farm for Tatenashi smithing texts?

I think once you finish demon king divines can from then on out drop and the return of the gourd is where we can farm that set. And with the Okatsu thing I think she is sad because she wanted William to stay but he didn't being content on finishing what he started.

Edit: Also, did people find the music different (more Western) to the others and I reckon bits of it was borrowed from the Black Sails theme.

Hanzo wasn't going to kill William because of how close they had become even though he had been ordered to thats why he faked it.

Me think so too, except Okatsu seem surprised when he lied to Tokugawa at their meeting. Hence still don't understand why Hanzo asked Okatsu "Are you sure about this?" at the beach unless he asked her if she wanted to follow William back to England and she declined?

So was Hanzo's cat re-incarnated b/c Edward is dead or Saoirse's release?
