What does '' Familiarity '' does?
Hi there,

What does Familiarity does? when the bar compleet filled up, does it gives only more Amrita when offering to the shrine? What does it more? Does it have any extra benefits then giving more Amrita?

If you're talking about the Familiarity of your weapons and armour, when the bar is full it unlocks all the Special Effects that weapon or armour piece has.

Sorry, meant to say that when it reaches full Familiarity it extends the value of your weapons/armour Special effects. Anything that has a value associated with it.

Example: Close Combat Damage goes from +15% to +20% at full Familiarity...Break +14 goes to +19....Luck +14 to +19, etc....

Sorry for any confusion.

I see, So its only boosting you current special effect on the weapon / armour.

Could you tell me more about the special effects that has ' |> " To it. You can't change that stats. But how can I still changing that specifyd stats?

It also increases base damage.
To transfer a stat, you need to max the material item's familiarity then soul match it to the base item you want it on
Cirnostyle Jan 1, 2018 @ 10:53am
Familiarity is also required to inherit stats. Once an item's familiarity is at maximum, its inheritable trait ( |>| icon) can be put onto another item via soul matching, either replacing an existing inheritable trait or adding a new one.

So If I wanna change that |> stats on a Item, just only to replace to for a other stats what should i need to do?

If you want to replace that trait, you need another item of the same type (melee, ranged weapons and armor are 3 separate categories) with an inheritable trait you like, and raise that item's familiarity (either through use, whetstone or glue).
Inheritable traits do follow most reforge rules though, so you cannot get a trait of the same type twice on an item (for example, only one change to attack can be on a weapon, or one damage bonus [either familiarity or ninjutsu]).

Aaah I see, Thanks!
Also on a item you have the '' attack '' after that the number how much damage you do, BUT does on that attack number already calculated the special effects? or is that seperate with that '' attack '' number?

There's no familiarity for armor. Do you mean armor special effects are dependent on weapon familiarity? If so, do all melee and range weapons need to be fully familiarised in order to increase armor special effects stats?

each piece of armor has familiarity too, just like weapons.

Only divine or ethereal armor has familiarity.
