As an alternative to Suzaku I can suggest using Janomecho + Saoirse + Tokugawa clan combo, giving you pretty much exactly oneshot immunity - if you get hit by an attack that should kill you while you are on 30% or more health, you'll live with 1hp. And that doesn't require full Amrita gauge, has no cooldown and unlimited uses.
Oh sorry, I wasn't bragging, I was asking for help!
So there's no point in putting more points into health then? I'm at 57 points in Body, 3600 hp.
Git Gud and stop getting hit I guess is the direction the game is heading in with higher NG+'s.
I mean, I'm getting through the missions, they're going okay. I'm getting tons of Amrita so each mission I'm getting close to 5 levels. Resetting at the shrine and running through again is easy farming right now.
I'll try switching to your suggestions though, see if that helps.
Heavy armor does well to negate a lot of the more frustrating one shots, even on WotN (those from lesser enemies that barely hurt in earlier difficulties) and sets like Tatenashi or Oyamatsumi (or both!) really help protect even further from a lot more.
