Gasha-Dokuro is like the worst boss you could ever design
1. Make a giant boss that doesn't even fit on the screen.
2. Make your in-game camera less suitable for this kind of boss.
3. Add bullsh*t hitboxes, make it's attack hit the player even if boss' model clearly didn't touch them.
4. Make them deal a lot of damage. Making evel 100+ players with unique 100+ equipment die from one-two hits is the key to success.
5. And as if it wasn't enoung, add a regular enemies to get in the player's way, sabotaging their effort as much as it possible.
6. ???
7. Congratulations! You've made the less fun and most frustrating boss, that definetely won't ruin players expirience.

Jokes aside, f*ck the guy who make it.

And don't even get me started on "This game is not supposed to be easy, gut gud, casul". There's a clear difference between challenging and outright broken, and this boss isn't an example of the first one.

this teaches us a good lesson bois. Wrong process = wrong result. Even the easiest thing can be QQ-ed by someone.

Tbh even though this is an easy boss, the issue isn't the OP's lack of understanding, the boss doesn't give enough information to the player to indicate what they're supposed to do. It's the first boss in the game with ANY of the mechanics involved and you've never needed or been allowed to spam living weapon in any fight before this one, why should a player assume they can or should now? Too many assumptions being made by the developers on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ " cinematic " fight. Team Ninja always pull this ♥♥♥♥ and it's always bad.

Uhh.. no?

It clearly shows you what you need to do by putting yellow spots on the feet and hands and head.
Attack the foot, he goes down to a point where it's more than clear that you need to be to attack his face.
The fight is completely self explanatory.... unless you've never played a game before in your life

Since when games such as these gives you clue. None of them give any actual clue on what you are suppose to do. It's on your part to figure that out.

Actually screw that, this boss fight gave the most clue out of every other boss, it's the same as Honda fight, with 3 big ass purple crystal there. Now look at the arena, why are there 3 levels, why are there so many amrita spots even above, it's actually clear out telling you to make use of them. It's obvious OP actually lacked the knowledge on how the fight works.

I helped someone do this boss recently. Took out one of his ankles and used LW on his head. Killed him in one go.
Giblix Dec 2, 2017 @ 11:34am
I fought him at with lvl 60-70 iga jonin set. got hit by his spinning tail attack and 1 or 2 blast waves. Still didn't die. My frustration was more that you can easily and quickly take down his ankles and then face.

But after that it takes so friggin long till you get another chance to hit him. I just ran around the arena killing the archers for ammo so I could attack from range with my guns.

He just didn't want to slam his fist or face anywhere so I'd got a chance to hit. After running around, for what felt like ages, I could finally attack his hands twice. Then his head fell on the ramp again and finished it with Living weapon.

Man that fight started with me feeling intimidated by its size to being very annoyed by how tedious it was.

Guess my fault was I took out both ankles in 1 go. Meaning I could've used the 2nd ankle for a 2nd faceplant of him to attack.

Someone who's got a learning disability might have a problem with this fight. So yeah, devs are supposed to just dumb everything down to cater to people with learning disabilities. That's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ entitled millennial attitude. Props to Team Ninja for triggering entitled millennials with learning diabilities.

It's as simple as this, derp derp, hit glowy spots! Derp.... Almost all yokai in the game have glowy spots that are vulnerable, and anyone who can't put 2 + 2 together is a re-tard. Anyone who can't figure that out pretty quick is just too short for this ride.

Not only do you get the glowing spots on it's feet, pretty sure that Omnyo mage tells you it's stunned and it is your chance, the thing screams while it gets impaled and slowly falls down giving you access to it's head which should be a clear sign that is where you can hit it, you do not even need LW to kill him, I didn't used it on my first run because I always saw it as cheese way to kill bosses, even then it only took 2 cycles to kill because the circles not only refill LW they also provide a huge boost to ki regen.

Then again I just helped someone in WotW who kept hitting it's feet.

just an extra tip : actually dokuro real weakness is pure magic. Anyone running onmyo build can easily rekt it by spamming the shots at the head

To be honest, the "huge" size bosses in this game are all disappointments.
Umi Bozu, Gasha Dokuro and Orochi are all just "wait for it to attack and counter it". They tend to make you play passively... unless you use certain tactics. Fire destroys both Umi bozu and gasha dokuro, while Orochi you just shoot in the face / cut their throats.
They're just tedious.

The human size bosses i feel like are the best.

What? This fight was a joke, I was running a Onmyo build first time I came across it and just killed him with shots, NG+ I figured out I had to tickle his toes to get him to bend over laughing so I could punch him in the face. Saw the obvious stamp coming and ran to the other leg, like every game of this style teaches you, it's...kind of a joke?
