Agree with Imagogg, don't be greedy and rush with too many hits - patience is key. What worked for me in the end was to stay in front and wait for him to lift 1 or 2 balls, then roll under one of armpits, turn around and hit him from the back. After couple of hits dodge backwards with guard on as he may swing his balls around - rinse and repeat.
Then on the road to Hino Enma you use the level ups to increase other attributes untill the character is "fixed" and where it should be.
Using book of ressurection before lvl100 is just a waste of resources.
Actually, given that the book is practically free and the cost cap isn't even high, I say use it whenever you feel like it. No reason not to.
His point is that early of the game, stats doesn't affect anything. If you can't get past some parts its totally not because of your 'build' but your reflexes and thinking. Basically your game sense.
Yeah, that's true. Stats can have a pretty decent impact early game, too, though. For example, stack Stamina for the first ~40 levels and you can wear full heavy armour with B agility, which is a pretty big boon.
If you are a new player heavy armors are a stinking bait. The thing that is bad about Nioh is the lack of proper explaination for most of the mechanic such as weight. New players wouldn't even understand the threshold for weight classes, most will just ignore Stamina thinking it's nothing important. Your point makes sense only when applied to veterans of this genre or you already know how the game works.
