Buffs n debuffs lol

I just saw this and like WOW, not all buffs are created equal.
Power pill gives you 25% power up while Carnage gives you 82-107% (albeit with a defense debuff of about 95%)
Meanwhile, Weakness gives you 9% over ONE enemy lol
Steel on the other hand gives you a solid 6% defense LOL

Man, I wish they just show us these numbers up front

Just tells me that these devs have no idea what they're doing when it comes to balancing the game. At all..

Almost like they just pulled numbers out of their asses on a whim and called it a day.

That video is 9 month old, I doubt they are still that weak.

There is no Such thing as balance in games like this. Do you even Demon/Dark Souls/Bloodborne

Of course there's balance goofy.. have YOU played Souls and BB?
Gameo Nov 21, 2017 @ 6:40pm
So lemme get this straight... one buff with a debuff overrides the other buff, while you need to carry yet another buff on your bar to negate the debuff coming from your buff just to make it worth using at all..
Yeah that doesn't sound like incompetence at all

It does. I've been taking literally x2 damage lately for no reason. https://streamable.com/imoms

That laughable 6% becomes suddenly more than 100% lmfao.

Devs need to get on their a game.

There is a clan that allows the elixer to remove all debuffs on you, and that includes the defense debuff from the carnage talisman. I can confirm it works 100%. It also gives you a temporary defense buff after using an elixer. It's a pretty sizeable increase and could definitely help you in a pinch.

Also there's no way weakness talisman only reduces 9%.

Not using weakness: 77k. https://streamable.com/dgoxo

Using weakness: 123k. https://streamable.com/lkz49

Interesting. So Steel does override Carnage without erasing the power buff.
I wonder if this is an oversight.
Remember seeing in a video that they nerfed carnage pretty hard in some patch (1.06?); apparently it is much weaker now. Can also confirm tha't weakness easily increases damage by more than 9% (if i had to guess it would be roughly 20%) so this is outdatet at least in that regard.

You can only have one buff/debuff from the same source, so if you for instance get a defence debuff from Carnage, Steel's buff will delete that debuff and activate Steel. This is also why Powerpill and Carnage don't stack.

Carnage isn't AS great now, and it is also hampered by being fixed. Power Pill stacks with DEX, meaning it can get really powerful.

Am I the only one purposefully avoiding statistics so I can actually enjoy the combat system instead of making this Diablo 3,5?
