Secret phrase is 112233, I don't find the boss difficult to be honest, it's just the fact I only have 3 Elixrs

Just jump down into the arena and dodge all of his ranged attacks until he headbutts the ground, then move in to do assloads of extra damage when he's stunned. He's nearly impossible to beat on the platforms

1) Block his pincer charge
2) Wait when he start spitting things at you
3) After every his attack run in and hit his head with overhead attack(high stance strong attack mostly)
4) Proceed to run around, no need to dash if you use high stance, running will be more efficient

Idk how you're having trouble with this boss. It's definitely one of the easiest ones.

You can easily bug him out, even if you don't want to. Really stupid boss and buggy as hell.

this boss ai is the lamest out of all the game lol, just lure him to the long ladder, climb your way up and move quickly to where the fan blower is, jump down on him and do a plunge attack.
Repeat till his body parts spread out, kill the poison mushroom his body parts left behind.

Repeat the cheese.

Indeed I was surprised by this as well. If you have a half decent build. get in 1 or 2 ♥♥♥♥♥. activate living weapon and he's dead. Did it with Odachi, Spear and Kusarigama. Started a new save with Tonfa's and so far that weapon seems like it could pull that off as well. Even though it looks like it is the weakest of all weapons.

Wish I can bug him like you ;) I'm still stuck with 4 elixirs only ... several times I could have defeated him if I had 2 more elixirs. If only you can buy elixirs ...
