Way of the Nioh I think unlocks it to 300+50
I used to play on playstation, but that was like 2 months ago, finished Way of the Wise and dropped it
Damn, what level would that be at?
Not sure what you're asking, but it goes like this:
NG (Way of the Samurai)
NG+ (Way of the Strong)
NG++ (Way of the Demon)
NG+++ (Way of the Wise)
NG++++ Final one (Way of the Nioh) "ayynameofthegame.jpg"
My memory is not the best, but I do believe it is as I explained in my first post.
If anyone remembers it correctly, feel free to correct me :)
I mean like the level you would be at NG++++ (player level) 150? 250? 700?
So some examples.
Base(+value) + material(+value) = result(+value)
150(+0) + 150(+0) = 150(+0) _____This is useless. Material must have at least +1
150(+0) + 150(+1) = 150(+1)
150(+0) + 150(+13) = 150(+1) _____The base will only ever increase by 1
150(+1) + 150(+1) = 150(+2) _____Because they both have the same +value it increases by 1
150(+3) + 150(+2) = 150(+3) _____Useless. The material must be the same +value or higher
150(+3) + 32(+3) = 150(+4) _____Lower level material doesn't effect the +value.
150(+3) + 194(+0) = 194(+3) _____You can level up the base freely without worrying about +value
150(+3) + 194(+3) = 194(+4) _____The +value is handled seperately so you get both level and +value up
probably 700 "player level" never went to way of the nioh, dropped it after finishing way of the wise.
Upon hitting level 750 you can spend amrita to gain up to 1000 more "focus levels" but these levels are very weak in comparison. You can choose between putting points in life, defense, attack, or luck.
If you put all 1000 points in just one stat this is what you end up.
Life = 500 (2 points = 1 life)
Attack = 200 (5 points = 1 attack)
Defense = 200 (5 poitns = 1 defense)
Luck = 100 (10 points = 1 luck)
Seems like Luck would be the best stat at that stage of the game. And extra 200 attack when you already got 4K+ (possibly considerably more) isn't that significant, neither is 500HP when mobs probably OHKO you regardless. Defense is even more useless than the rest.
Is it possible to be at Abyss 999 and still be able to survive more than one hit? Like without heavy armor and 200 in body + stamina? I've heard differing reports between people saying abyss 999 is OHKO no matter what by anything that attacks, and others claiming they could face tank 999 with 320+150 gear.
I've only been down to floor 4 in the abyss (accidentally left cause I'm so used to using the go forward glowy thing) and figured I should do what I can to make it to way of the wise. Just beat the final DLC story mission of way of the strong hoping that would unlock queens eyes on way of the demon like it did when in way of the strong when I beat the DLC on way of the samurai but no dice. Before too long I'll actually be there and able to tell ya first hand how hard it is to survive. Still having some trouble deciding on what I want my set to be but I can't find any info on set bonuses from new DLC stuff so that makes it kind of hard. Thinking 4 izanagi, 3 kigetsu, 5 ninigi and make sure to roll absorb hp (auto recovery) on my helm but I just can't find any data on anything current so it's very frustrating.
Even with 200 body + stamina and the best tank set you can get? I doubt I'm even going to play the abyss if the tankiest builds get OHKO'd anyway. The setup I was gonna go with for level 750 was 200 in body+stam+spirit with 100 in magic, and 50 spread among other stats. Those 3 stats would make me full tank + living weapon, and good amount of cheese casts.
I can easily say that some attacks that would have 2hko'd me with light armor would need 3 shots to KO me in heavy, which is a decent improvement. OHKO no matter what isn't a challenge, it's a cheese fest. I might as well just living weapon spam everything, and perma-sloth bosses. Or go pure cheese, and full works of debuffs on every boss, sloth, attack + defense down + lifeseal + land dischord, followed by full buffs on me + living weapon spam.
