How do i get Onmyo/Ninjutsu points?

I'm guessing i get Samurai points for just hitting enemies with a weapon.... seeing how i have 50 unspent points. But what about the other 2? I have 0 in both

If I recall correctly you can get them in two ways: raising their respective stat when you level and by gathering and using items that give you them. I believe there is no way to gain them via proficiency like you can Samurai points.

I used like... 30 Fire Talismans on the Umi Bozu, got 0 Onmyo points

from what ive gathered you just gotta level either dexterity for ninjutsu and the magic stat for well magic. dunno how else from the outside leveling those 2 things up

I meant the hair items that grant those points. Like Samurai hair locks but, instead, mages/ninja.

Check your inventory for Samurai Locks. You'll have different rarities of them. They each grant a set amount of points to use for unlocking magic and weapon abilities.

Samurai locks give samurai points, onmyo locks give onmyo points, ninja locks give ninja points. You get a few dojo missions to unlock more skills at 10, and 15 dex and magic. The ultimate skills are still locked and I haven't figured out how to unlock them yet.

Unless you're doing 0 leveling, magic and ninjutsu aren't that inconvenient if you just invest points into the stats involved. Especially since doing so typically makes the given school's effects better.

At least get enough ninja points to get instant copy and enough magic to max out luck (which requires 15 magic points).
