I play with a GTX 1080, 16GB RAM, res of the game is 1080p, fullscreen, highest textures...

and the game is stuttering so hard. I can't even get to the main menu... what can I do ?

If you're not using a controller, try installing vJoy. It seems that the game won't run properly until you plug in either a physical or a virtual controller. I know, it doesn't make sense, but this is what helped me get rid of stuttering.

Edit: Ah, you've already figured it out, I was a bit too late :)

But what if you just plugged the controller without installed vJoy? wil it fixxx?

weird i have 1080ti and it runs great . try unistalling drivers with ddu then re downlaoding driver and make sure you do clean install. Also make the game is set to high performance in nvc. also check cpu usage with msi after burner

Dude, even with the lowest settings possible it's the same.

I'll try restarting my computer, will tell you if this works

Noooo! I hope your pc is okay. Games running great after 4 hours in so far

If thats the stuttering that happens during cutscens and in the menu, it has nothing to do with graphics cards. Its related to mouse and controller setup. I solved it by installing vjoy
GlitcherDude Nov 8, 2017 @ 12:23pm
So : reboot is not working. Same problem.

CPU : Usage (highest) 67%, Temp (highest) 72%
GPU : Usage (highest) 57%, Temp (highest) 62%

I used HWMonitor, I don't like Msi Afterburner :)

I can run all of my games in max settings without any problem, except this game.

Are you definitely running in fullscreen mode?
GlitcherDude Nov 8, 2017 @ 12:24pm
Yep, tried windowed either, same problem
Der_Rusher Nov 8, 2017 @ 12:25pm
maybe you are on 30fps locked?! there is an 60 fps option, you should enable that!

same problem here on my laptop. Even the main menu animations are in "slow motion".

Using latest drivers, gtx 980M, i7, 8gb RAM. Must be something to tick/untick somehwere that really bothers the game (e.g. hardware acceleration etc.).

edit: using bluetooth controller (ps4), gotta try wired mode.
