When using the action mode (60fps mode) on base PS4, Nioh spends a lot of time at 720p mark but regularly jumps up to higher resolutions, such as 1600x900 or 1728x972.
Heres a full video to help you out.

As with most games, consoles are always less hassle (boot it up and play). The PC version is barebones and needs a controller, but being able to customize graphics settings makes it look better. PS4 has 2 presets: action (low graphics high framerate), and cinematic (High quality graphics locked at 30FPS). The PC version will let you get high quality graphics at 60FPS. Plus having it come with all the DLC makes it cheaper altogether.

Yep no problem. Honestly I'd love to pick this up again to try my luck but I'm only running a 980ti and I'm seeing some 1070 and 1080 users having issues so I'm taking a wait and see approach to this and playing through the copy I already have on console for the time being.

Alright i would buy PC edition without a doubt if there wasnt space issue in my hdd. I heard it is 80 GB or so, i have room in my ps4 but dont have that much in pc. I must decide if the graphics are worth it to buy on pc.

Game runs fine in 1440p with 6700k/980 ti and the game is like the ps4 version but looks way cleaner because of the much higher resolution.

I'm running a 4790k so this gives me a bit more hope still not enough to double dip right away. I'll probably wait a month or so.

And any type of multiplayer on PC will likely be mass-hacked and exploited by cheaters, just as was the case with all the Dark Souls installments.

I have both versions..and I say without a doubt PC for sure. If you have a decent enough pc that can handle it that is. Ps 4 version I played many hours and it´s certainly playable BUT it frequently drops fps and also scaled the resolution down to where it looks like ps2 game textures. As I said ps4 version is a fun game indeed and very playable but PC is simply superior imo, cause looks better and runs better. In regards to your specifik question pc is cleaner and keeps resolution high . ps 4 goes very low res often.

if anyone cares/needs to know pc version run pretty solid for me at 1080p 60 fps on 4690k (stock) and 980 gpu

why would the size of his tv matter? a better resolution looks even better on a bigger screen ..I play on a large tv hooked to my PC.

It works fine for me. I run a laptop with a 970m (which is comparable to a 770 desktop gpu), and it runs great now. At 1920x1080 with medium rendering and medium shadow quality I get a consistent 60FPS on the second level (the fps on the opening level fluctuated a lot which worried me, but it's been super smooth once I got past it)
