Game does not start. I click launch game after changing settings and it does not launch at all
Hi, So I installed the game and everything and the game refuses to even launch for me. Any suggestions? I tried both launching "without settings" option and the normal option and it doesn't even launch

It says it's running in steam after clicking "launch game" then it just stops running and says syncing and it's over. like wtf am I supposed to do?

Maybe not enough space on disk? It was just closing for me cuz it took up all the space on drive.

Thanks for the reply :)

Says I have 9.73 gb left on my hard drive and 73.9 GB in the install folder. I assume that would be enough no? How much did you free up when you did that? How much space did your hard drive have available after?

I installed the game on a 4TB HDD so I can confirm it's not related to space left on the disk drive. I've been trying to find out how to get Nioh to actually launch all day.

Damn, glad to hear I am not the only one with this problem :( It also doesn't save any of my settings in the launcher either when it does get launched.

I already verified the files in steam as well so I dunno wtf to do

That's surely more than enough, i had 1-2 gb free and it wasn't launching, but 8-10 is ok. Now it just launchs the small black window without any life sign whatsoever. Everyone got his own problems, eh? They said game is hard, but i never thought it means ever getting to play it :D

I've never even seen the launcher personally lol

LOL no doubt!! I would kill for some "12 frames per second" problems like some people have, at least their damn game is launching!!

What's everyones OS here? Mine is Windows 7
Chapy Nov 7, 2017 @ 10:42pm

Okay I got it to run! This is what I did.

I went into nvidia control panel. I assume we all probably have multiple GPU's.

Go to manage 3d settings

instead of auto-select I switched it to "high performance nvidia processor" I switched ambient occlusion to "quality" that was all I switched there.

I right clicked and clicked "run with high performance nvidia processor" and it worked

by right clicking go to run with graphics processor: then click the nvidia one

Are you on a laptop? I'm on a desktop and I don't have the high performance NVIDIA processor option in the Control Panel
