I'm running windows 10 with the latest updates, my NVidia drivers are up to date too. I've tried playing the game in Borderless, Windowed, and Full screen. Tried dropping all the graphics setting to minimum, turning EVGA Precision off, turning Kaspersky off, playing in Big Picture Mode, Verifying game file integrity, using Geforce Experience to optimize the game (which I never use bc Geforce Exp is pretty pointless except for maintaining drivers, imo), and a few other things I can't remember I'm sure. Point is... I'm outa ideas. Every game I've thrown at my new setup has run buttery smooth at max settings, this is the first game that's given me trouble and after 5 hours of attempting to trouble shoot I'm about to throw in the towel sadly.
My setup is:
Hero IX Mobo
EVGA Geforce 1080 ti
Intel i7 7700k cpu, with Corsair H100i v2 liquid cooler
16gb of DDR4 ram (planning on upping to 32gb soon)

I know I already had Visual C++ for 2017 installed, but I saw in another post someone had suggested to try to reinstall this so I did. Anyway, after doing these steps I was finally able to play Nioh for about 3 hours with 0 crashes. Hopefully it keeps going good.
Another strange thing I found was that if I tried to use FRAPS Nioh would refuse to reconize that I had a controller connected, which is just odd.
For example my game crashes 100% of the time when the final boss in the Queen Eyes mission summons his eyes. I have to play borderless or windowed to complete that mission.
They need to patch this crap.
