Console Exclusive Armor?

So are we just not going to talk about the armor that’s potentially straight up cut from the PC version of the game, just because it’s a port?

The Nioh armor[static3.gamespot.com] and the Gold Nioh armor[s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com] are unavailable in the PC version of the game. Koei Tecmo have said in support tickets that the Gold Nioh armor is in the game, but not available through the original means (the boons menu).

What happened to all these helmets and pieces of armor? And don’t even start by excusing it with “B-But they were Japanese Preorder exclusives!!!”. They were, except all versions of the game could play together. Players dying with these equipped, or players straight up intentionally killing themselves to create a revenant wearing it, is what allowed other players across regions to all acquire these armors.

I love the game, played it back on PS4 and now I’m enjoying what there is on PC. But this seems pretty crappy to just shave a handful of armors from the PC release for no reason. Wonder why they did it?

Not a dev, but I have some corrections regarding your original post:

-The Onryoki, Hinoenma and Ogress masks were rewards for completing the alpha,beta and last chance demo on the PS4, but the smithing texts for making them still dropped from the respective bosses. So those are most likely available on PC. (Didn't buy the game on PC yet due to the dodgy port so someone else will have to confirm it for you)

-There's one more DLC that you didn't mention, the deluxe weapon pack with 5 weapons/skins. Not sure if it's included on PC, but since the others aren't probably not

-Some of those armors don't drop from revenants on consoles mainly the Sanada Crimson and the Nioh Armor, the three japan exclusive kabutos do drop from revenants though.

-Also while the Sanada Crimson might not be in the game the second DLC had another set that looked exactly the same, so visually you're not missing out on that part at least.

But yeah it sucks that the DLC isn't in the PC version, especially weird that the Golden Nioh armor isn't included since it was a free bonus for the game selling one million copies and wasn't technically DLC.

I have like half of those items already. I def have ogress mask text, sanada crimson pieces, and the hino-enma kabuto text. It's likely all of them are in the game and you are freaking out over nothing.

I apologize for my initial post, some of the things listed weren't entirely exclusive. However the following three helmets are not in the game. There were even revenants that dropped them on NG+ back on console, that have been removed on the PC version.

-Tanuki Kabuto
-Good Fox Kabuto
-Visitoro Dragon Kabuto

I contacted Koei Tecmo support and they said that the Gold Nioh is in the PC version, but they won't say how to get it. Apparently a policy about "not giving help or hints".
