Nioh Crashing 1080p (error:activemovie window!)

so the game runs fin on the default settings but when i change reso to 1080p
the game starts up until the 2nd logo that pops up in a other window named activemovie window at this point the game crahes tryed all modes windowd/borderless/fullscreen only having this on 1080p any idea's how to fix this ?

WHat GPU do you own and how much VRAM?

Download klite codec tweak tool, use it to repair all their direct show drivers/ registries...

Then go to windows settings and reset all association to default media player.

Then uninstall all 3rd party codecs.

got a GTX1080Ti with the latest drivers installed just tryed Klite still same problem
only on 1080p on 720p it all works fin

well i bumped it up to 1440p and works fine now only have this problem with 1080p

Just did this, after trying all that other Klite Codec stuff. Simply going to your video driver and turning off Antialiasing(OR to Application-Controlled), does in fact fix the crashing when the KoeiTech logo shows! Thank you very much oyado!

Por incrivel que pareça, só da crash nessa resolução, estava com o mesmo problema, coloquei em 2.5k mesmo não tendo monitor para isso e o jogo funcionou normalmente!!!
