I don't know if that includes purchases from 3rd-party stores, so I recommend you to contact Steam support before removing the game from your library by yourself.

I am not sure if you are actually getting a different key or not. I suppose not, because you can always get back the game from the same menu, even if you remove it from your account.
But you get a different region license, so if you remove the Asian Version, and buy it via Steam again, you get the un-censored version.

There is blood in both Asian and Global. However, dismemberment is only for Global. Meaning limbs, heads and every other thing flying around is exclusive to Global.

Yes it worked. I deleted the game from my account, on the support page.
After that I bought the game from Steam. After that I entered the Console.
And typed. licenses_for_app 485510

Got a message about 109199 version, that means global and uncensored.

Make sure it corresponds to your game version (current version is v1.21.01). I got mine from GameCopyWorld. In the RAR-archive you'll see files named "nioh.exe" and "nioh.cdx". DON'T USE THE EXE!! That's a cracked exe which may crash your game as soon as some bodyparts are about to fly. Instead extract "nioh.cdx" to your game folder, backup your original exe and lastly rename "nioh.cdx" to "nioh.exe". I also unpacked "nioh_launcher.cdx" and replaced it with the the original "nioh_launcher.exe" but I don't think it's necessary.

Keep in mind that you most likely have to re-download a newer western version of the exe, as soon as the game gets updated.

you could have read the other 10 pages and noticed that this topic has been pretty much discussed as much as needed.

The asian version is censored and only allows dismembering demons and the likes. Not on humans though. The version for the west allows dismemberment even on humans (with the small exception of the first tutorial mission in the tower).

Well, if this thread is relatively on top anyway I might as well add my experience. I can also confirm that if you bought the game from a different seller and got the asian version you can just remove the game from your account, then buy the game on Steam and (if your region is offering it) get the uncensored version. Just like a few people already confirmed as well.

I have dismemberment all the time, on everything, on PC. I mostly notice it once they are dead and I keep swinging, but I see arms, legs heads all being cut off.
