On the Chosen Awake web page, I'm experiencing an issue where when I finish everything but the last part of the puzzle I cannot click on the orange circles which make the whole thing a waste of time for me.

The orange circles arent the last part (well, they have never been the last part for me)

I pressed to hold the doorknob at the same time as I was moving to look out the door window. Because of this I got stuck holding the doorknob and looking out the window while The Breather was trying to get in. The game still read this as me hiding normally and holding the doorknob so The Breather didnt react to me looking straight into his face.

However, when The Breather left I was still stuck looking out the window and any button combination I tried didn't work, had to quit.

Hi,

I've just bought the game and I can't get past the main menu, every time I click any of the options (New game, options and exit" it makes a noise as if I'd clicked it and the mouse pointer changes, however it doesn't proceed from there.
I have tried clicking once and waiting 5 minutes to no avail.

So far I've re-installed the game, verified the game cache (which sometimes comes up with 1 file missing and will be re-acquired and it still doesn't work, I've unplugged my alternate monitors, tried a different monitor, tried hdmi over dvi, restarted pc, updated drivers, re-installed again to a different hard drive, changed my monitor resolution to below native, turned my monitor to 60hz instead of 144, running in compatibility mode for windows 7, tried entering windowed mode with alt + enter when in game, running as administrator, backed up and restored the files from a different computer... I'm out of ideas.

I have a gtx 780, i7 3770k running windows 8 (not 8.1). I have seen other steam discussion threads created with similar issues and a youtube video descripting the same from last year with no issues, and some have replies with other users having the issue.

When i was holding the door and i looked at the killer i could move my mouse but nothing else worked. i couldnt try and get out the that action

./CLOUDGRID freezing.

In HACKERMODE, if you fail the cloudgrid minigame, the game doesnt do anything. You have to alt tab out since there seems to be no other way to get back to the main menu from inside the minigame. And since the mini game is stuck, you have to exit the entire game and relaunch.

CloudGrid crashes during Hacker mode, whatever I do after I solve the puzzle or let the time run out the thing just sits there, all I can do is Esc (Break) or Alt-F4. The top right timer keeps on running though. Are other people experiencing this?

The computer at the start of the game is black with grey screen at top right corner. Still happens after numerous verifying the game files and reinstalling

Has nobody figured out how to fix the Main Menu glitch? Can't get past the menu, whatsoever. Nobody has found a solution to this issue?

Hello. I have an error when trying to play this game and the game kindergarten. When I try to open the game I get 2 windows. One is just the game but it says not responding however when trying to open kindergarten I can hear the music for the menu even though its not responding and it's a black screen. The other window is an error message that says this: Oops! The game crashed. The crash report folder named "2017_05_03_145714" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game. It is not for every game as I am able to play the rest of the games I have fine. Except the walking dead season 3 which says missing game executable. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please tell me because I was really looking forward to playing welcome to the game. *edit* The number for crash folder in error is only for welcome to the game. When trying to play kindergarten the other numbers are the same but ending number is different.

I'm getting this same issue. I had played roughly an hour before this started happening. I got kidnapped in my first playthrough, so I started a new game. No problems. Made it 10 minutes before I decided to start a new game so I could go through the tutorial again. After that, the screen was messed up (as described in his post).
It's 2017 and I've been using computers long enough to know when Windows needs to be updated, so that's not the problem. My graphics drivers are also not the issue (I double-checked to be sure). I uninstalled/reinstalled the game, and that did nothing. Even restarted my computer for s**ts and giggles. Nothing worked.

Normally I'd just take the refund, but I actually want to play this all the way through.

Exactly, I honestly don't think it's something with the System. I was in the same issue, but was able to play before the big 2.0 update. That's when these issues occured. Is there really no way to fix this? I just don't think someone's trying to fix it. Terribly sucks.

Yeah, I'm like to get a response from the devs, but I'm not holding my breath. What I don't get is why it worked just fine for the first hour or so, and then randomly stopped working.

I'm going to try uninstalling it again, and this time manually removing any/all residual game files from my system. I don't know that it will help, but it's worth a shot. I'm absolutely dying to play this game.

Please, let me know if you get a solution to this. It sucks the Devs aren't really responding to this case. It cannot be something with the drivers, it was working perfectly before it decided to stop. Weird and all, but thank you! Let us know if you do contact and get a response!

I dont know if this is a known issue or not but after i browse for a while on ann eventually my homepage becomes blank and I cant access any links. I looked online and it said to update my java which I did but still having the same problem! Very Annoying! Everytime it happens i have to save and close then reload the game. It resets the clock to 10pm.. arrg..

EDIT: I've verified my steam files after posting this and it was missing a file. now that it has updated i can finally enjoy this masterpeice!

There is a glitch for mac when you pause the game and then unpause the mouse wont move

I had an issue in Hacker Mode while I was trying CloudGrid. When the Game Over screen should appear the whole game froze. A new record, lost :’-(
