No cues for Breather?

On occasions, the breather seems to not leave any call but shows up to the door and murder me anyway. One big example I can recall was when I haven't discovered any keys (from all the active deep wiki I page), but still got kill due to no phone call cues or sounds. Am I suppose to check the door on occassion despite no calls?

He is suppose to call you and inform you when his near since in the tutorial it is said that before killing his victims he calls so... Before he attacks you do you make any progress in the game like going through many websites ?

I have gone through a whole deep web page with no success in finding any codes.

During the entire playthrough, I haven't got hacked aside one time by click on a web page. At no time during the search or hack has he left a dud call/legit one.

Well the update just resently came out so problems and errors should be no surprise try to re download and if still doesn't work there is a special thread to report problems like this so might as well post the problem there so it can be fix later on.... This also happened to me at the beginning but after the awakening link things started happening and also hack are not to common for me

If you hear him at your door breaking it down or lock-picking then you have about 20-30 seconds to go to the door and stop him.

Yeah, the first time he showed up, there was a loud bang, but the second time there was naught but the light rattling of the handle, and I had just happeened to lean back from my computer to hear it.

Guess I wasn't aware of such sounds since I was doing the score puzzle before he got to me.

I suppose he must've done that I suppose. Just seems odd that the phone didnt ring anytime prior to it. Guess it's one of those things you're not taught and have to figure out.

i have been killed by the breather totally randomly while and both times were when i was resetting the modem

Okay, I will give you a tip, turn your volume up ALOT, it will help you hear these sounds, if you hear a very quiet sound of a truck door slam, run to your door and stop him from coming in, if you hear the sound of a door knob turning ONCE, that also means hes there, so there is a doorknob sound and a truck door slam sound, thats all I have

Both games are RNG. Same with the sound cues. I still have not beaten both games. New games will RNG on you where you'll have active Kidnapper and/The Breather and barely any hacks, or the Kidnapper will be more active than The Breather. That's why people say this game is hard, but if you think about it, RNG is to blame here.
