In fictional Yuri this is less prevalent and the roles are blured and flexible
IRL Lesbian Couples tend to perform, let's just say.... "less pure" sexual practices and those roles tend to influence their daily lives as well. On the contrary gay couples tend to have a more platonic relationship which is not all about sex.
Most certainly not all Lesbian couples are like this and Gay couple like that, Lesbian couples can naturally be like that and Gay couples like this, hence why I just keep dreaming about females being all lovey-dovey with each other for all eternity (yeah, my least favorite, most disliked genre is indeed Yaoi but not because of how the relationships are shown is totally influenced by the female community, just ain't into men)
Sadly I suppose that Class Zenin Maji de Yuri?! ~Watashi-tachi no Rezu Oppai wa Anata no Mono Joshi Zenin Shiofuki Keikaku~ would not be on Steam even if it was translated... and I rather not translate the title. It's hilariously cute (and ecchi).
That's the reason I hate "romantic" stuff that Japanese make.. Because the quality of it is worse than Twilight. Yes, I said it. And yes, I mean it.
I've seen lot's of good Japanese stuff I LOVE. But they are not romantic (and not sexual either), because they suck at those things.
