Should I play this or Syndrome first?
I just got both games on sale. Addiction is more popular and came to Steam first, but apparently Syndrome was originally released in Japan a few years earlier. I don't know how these titles relate to each other story-wise.

The plots aren't directly connected, but there are three or four shout-outs to Syndrome in Addiction which you won't appreciate if you haven't played it. So you'll be better off playing Syndrome first, then Addiction.
