Switch or Steam?

How is the performance on the Switch? I dont get as much time as I would like at home on my PC and would really like to support this game. Is the Switch version acceptable? By acceptable I mean 30 fps locked?

Or would I be better getting the steam version?

Hey there,

If you're looking for the highest visual fidelity and crispiest FPS, then PC will give you that.

On Switch you'll still get a beautfiul game thay we've got targetted at 30 fps locked.

I guess it depends on what kind of experience you'd like from PLANET ALPHA.

I've played about half an hour in the Switch version and in my opinion it's fine. Most of the time it achieves 30 fps with a few drops here and there but nothin game breaking or anything. If I'm not mistaken (and I might be, so sorry to the developer if I'm wrong) there are a few fog effects missing on the Switch that you get in the PC version but that doesn't mean that the game doesn't still look great on the Switch.

To me the portability certainly makes up for the lower frame rate or slightly less effects.
