Cossacks Ultimate pack released for free by the modding community

The Cossacks modding community at gog has released a pack for Back to War that surpasses any current "Campaign DLCs" by steam or otherwise. It looks like it includes all of the campaigns plus one new as well as all single missions from EW and AOW and has MOD1 integrated with a switch to turn it off or on. Check it out, it might be worth a download since it's free and offers more content than the paid so-called dlc-s.

It offers the same content as the campaign expansion (plus a fanmade campaign, made by that guy), the whole thing is not exactly legal.

Hmm, the pack also includes all the single missions so that's a bit more content. I believe the campaign packs date back as far as january 2010 (http://cossacksworld.ucoz.co.uk/load/9) and nobody ever complained that they were "illegal". Squezzing money for something that was made free before Cossacks were even on steam seems a bit greedy to me. Reading the topics on gog.com I found out that there's even a possibility that steam ripped off the very same free mod from jan 2010 as there is a very specific bug present in both releases, but not in the new pack where it's fixed ("missing packhorse bug"). Curious.

All the mission are included in the Expansion/DLC as well, which was released in 2002

It wasn't made free before, Back To War was a standalone expansion.

Well, in that case, viva la modding community for bringing it to us for free and bugfixed :) It's a great way to revive this good old game.
