Mouse Issue IMPERIA

MOD1, OC mod, etc, have all worked fine in the past for me.
It's only when I tried out the IMPERIA that my mouse pointer is locked at the main menu. I can hear it scroll across the menu buttons, but the Cossacks golden cursor is frozen. Wtf?

Any help appreciated!

I had exactly the same issue. Rename mdraw.dll to ddraw.dll. Mouse cursor then worked as expected.

Hi, I fixed this issue (Windows 10) by installing the GL Wrapper patch: https://verokster.blogspot.com/2018/05/cossacks-american-conquest-gl-wrapper.html

You just drop the .dll into your root directory and load the game up.

What this patch does is load Cossacks in an OpenGL window rather than DirectDraw. You may need to reposition and resize this new window, but it means I can play Imperia!
