Play the Demo during Steam Next Fest!

Oct 16

Hello everyone!

I’m super happy to announce that the demo will be participating in the upcoming Steam Next Fest on October 19th!

Here’s what to expect from the demo:

50+ levels in the Demo: A 1:1 of the beginning of the game with tutorials and some preview levels from later on in the full game are included!
Progress Carries Over to Full Game: Any progress made in the demo will transfer to the full game automatically here on Steam, so no need to worry about starting over when the game comes out!
Play via Steam Deck: The demo and the full game already runs smoothly on Steam Deck, so feel free to try it out on it or similar devices!

The demo has a separate store page as well, so you can leave a review for the demo itself or read some of the ones already posted there!

Stay tuned for more news regarding the release date!

Starshapes Demo Version: Update #1

Sep 29

Hello everyone!

Thank you for all your reviews and feedback on this demo, it means a lot!

While I've been working on the full release for Starshapes, a bunch of things have been improved and those improvements are now coming to the demo as well:

Changelog:

MAJOR OVERHAUL: Number and Color symbols are now ON by default and have had their readability significantly improved. (You can still toggle them at any time in the settings).
UI FIXED: Most text elements in the UI / HUD used to flicker or jitter when moving the camera around. This has now been fixed.
Pull to Delete Line has now been made more consistent and should still work even if you move your cursor extremely fast across the screen.
Various small visual glitches have been fixed.
Gamepad cursor can now be moved at faster intervals (cooldown reduced).
Also, other small improvements...

Stay tuned for a Release Date Announcement coming very soon!

See you soon!

-Peter
