Game crashes after about 1 minute
I just picked this game up today due to the sale. Upon starting the game up, I've found that the game will crash after about 1 minute or so goes by. I can fully navigate the menu and even start some missions, but the game will always crash after a bit. I'd really like to try and solve this issue before I end up just refunding it.

Greetings Joe_Mama,

Sorry to hear that this is happening - would it be possible to see your system information so that we can try to help? To do this:
  1. Hold down the Windows Key and press R, the Run dialogue should appear > Type dxdiag in the available text field > Click OK
  2. Click Save All Information > Save the file DxDiag.txt to your Desktop so it is easy to find
  3. Open the .txt file, copy all the contents > Paste all the contents to a free text hosting service such as http://justpaste.it, http://textuploader.com or http://freetexthost.com
  4. Copy the link to your post

I'm experiencing the same issue, with the game crashing after about 1 minute - regardless of if I try and start a new campaign or leave it on the main splash screen.

my DxDiag.txt is here:
https://pastebin.com/nAKvwSwv

Quick look seems we have the same processor (intel Core i7-1065G7) and OS version (Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 18363) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202))

Windows Defender is disabled, and no other antivirus software is running.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John,

Sorry to hear you're also having this issue.

We can see that your OS is out of date, please check for pending updates for your system via the steps below:
  1. Select the Start button
  2. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
  3. Select Check for updates
  4. After installing the update, select Check online for updates from Microsoft Update
It appears that your computer may also be attempting to run the game via your integrated graphics card, rather than your dedicated NVidia graphics card.

To run the game through your dedicated graphics card, you may need to refer to your graphics card manufacturer's documents. If you are still unsure of how to do this, please contact the manufacturer of your graphics card directly.

We are unable to directly offer you instructions on how to do this. However, if you are connected to the internet, you may find the following useful:
  1. Right-click your desktop, and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
  2. From the left, select Manage 3D Settings.
  3. Select Program Settings and navigate to select the program. (If the program is not in the list, select Add > navigate to the folder ‘…\Steam\steamapps\common’, select the game name folder and then select the .exe.
  4. Click High Performance to select the higher power graphics card to use for that specific application.
  5. Select Apply.
After the steps please retest the game to see if the problem still continues.

If you are using SLI, please also disable this and test the game.

We also see that you are using some Razer devices, can you please uninstall any Razer software such as Chroma or Synapse, then try the game again.

We hope this helps!

another thing i have noticed is that my internet bandwidth is being consumed by the game just after the main screen loads.

I blocked it from connecting to the internet public and private networks while. but it has allowed me to play the game for about 15 mins before crashing.
I can place farms down and not touch them and the game will run for about 6 minutes but if I place a farm and swap it to anything it freezes and and it takes about a min to close and go to desktop.

If you have anything i can download that lets you monitor what is going on as i play i'm game.

Ok I am at a loss of what to do now.
I have disabled my antivirus and it crashes.
I have disabled windows antivirus for what its worth and it crashes.
i disconnected the ethernet cable from my pc and it crashes.
i even tried the lowest quality settings on the game and it crashes.
As far as i know my Graphics card should handle it with ease and its up to date.
