i just got it and every game mod and every time 20seconds in it shuts down

Never seen this game shut down, must be a computer system issue.
Did remind me of Civilisation call to power 2 though.... i was playing that game the other day, then half way through the game it suddenly closed itself, gone, do not pass go, do not get any error message, just, closed.
Computer is sitting there looking at me and said "I am ready to perform a task, not like we were busy doing something a second ago, nope, never happened, you imagined it".

Funny you say that, I am having the same problem with Tropico 6. The game just closes itself. I will try Aven Colony to see if I have a similar problem.

@soul having this exact problem. I found out that if i disconnect internet before starting the game, it won't crash, but this is really weird.

Having the same issue - it just randomly freezes then crashes. Not exactly sure why; I've tried all the basic Troubleshooting.

I cannot play the game on my new Acer spin3 (I5 1135G, 16/512GB, 28W TDP). It crashes to desktop shortly after starting the tutorial, the longest running time was approx. 1.5 min. The notebook is new, so is the windows installation, steam client and aven colony. Tried to alter video settings, restarting computer, no success. Not to bad, I was just looking for some games that are playable on the notebook. Aven colony does not seem to be one of them :)

Hey, just got the same here after changing my setup to a more recent one. I ve got the problem on a 11th gen i7 and a GTX 2060. I had a ATI/AMD before and I never got a crash ...

this might be a graphics software issue. might be worth reaching out to the game devs

I've installed the game yesterday and gave it a try today. I couldn't even finish the first campaign as the game closed itself randomly. First time was when the tutorial requested me to use right click to move the map, the second time was when I was expected to press F to center camera on the colonny.

I've all drivers up to date (especially the graphic one) and my windows is remotly fresh installed and up to date as well
Config is I7 11700K / msi z590 / GTX 1060
Game's crashing on both SSD and mechanical disk.

Same for me. The game gets to the Mother ship loading screen and then closes with no warning or sign of any issues. Happens every time.
