Mod support/ Future DLC?

This game has a lot of potentail it would be a shame if there is no new dlcs for it, more builings/enemies. Like new aliens, new builings like a animal farm/ weapons factory/barracks so npc can defend them self if there is a breach.

Also I see there is no mod workshop.

I really hope devs would consider it.

I imagine playing in the Alien universe. Builing a colony like the one in Alien 2 and defending the colony from xenomorphs who are trying overrrun it. xD

PS: Why does sci fi colony building game get "abandoned/finisht" so damn fast? Like a other colony builing game that had a lot of potantail and was "finisht" was Planetbase. It could have been so much more if the devs countied there work with it.

This title has finished development as far as I know, as for the reasons games stop development there are lots of reasons that this can occur. I'd love to have seen this title go further too, but alas this seems to be as far as development will go.

As for mods I would assume this wasn't intended from the start and therefore was not built into the core game.

Agreed with OP. Would love to see modding available for this game. Would be prepared to pay extra to support modding. Allowing modding seems to vastly increase the replayability of games and make them exceptional value. Modding communities are so amazingly creative and prolific. that game developers that don't support modding are leaving themselves at a massive disadvantage.

+1 to the idea of modding.

A game like this has so much potential to give an immersive in-depth experience, which it sadly lacks currently.

There are so many features and aspects to AC that are crying out for more development.

I think a lot of you may not understand how coding works, to support modding, they would have to have been working on it from the forefront, it's not really something that can be bolted on afterwards.

And again I'm pretty sure there is NO more development for this title planned at all, I know it's a shame as I would have loved for this title to have a future past what it is, but I know when I questioned the developer a long time ago he had no plans for this title. Have not heard anything since so pretty sure that's it.
