Controller Support in PC Version

I played the Xbox One version for a few days and do like the game and simple control scheme. Is the PC version playable with an Xbox 360 controller and will the UI overlay change to reflect button inputs?

P.S.: If you feel like leaving a negative comment right now and to convert me to mouse and keyboard, keep it to yourself. Controller is my preference, even though strategy games traditionally are better controlled with mouse and keyboard. I get it. I do controllers...

The Steam version does not feature controller support, sorry. A lot of things have been entirely remade to properly support controller on consoles, so it's not quite as easy to just flip a switch to be able to do both on the same platform :)

Thanks for the info. Will pick it up on PS4 instead; like to play these sorts of games from the couch sometimes.

Eventually purchased the game on Steam anyway. Been playing it almost exclusively with mouse. Needed the keyboard very rarely. So playing from couch is definitely still possible. Would have preferred controller, but if dev states that implementing this is too tough, then I have to respect that. I’m not a game developer and don’t know what creating a UI entails.
