Storage always full problem?
Anyone else can't figure out how to stop this? I've got about 50 storage containers in one area and still always full.

Of what? My experience so far says it can only occur through over production. You either need to reduce production, trade or convert (eg: wheat > flour > bread).

Maybe Paul could add a production limit tab so we dont over produce. On manufactured goods that is, farms should produce as normal.

Im pretty sure i dont need 20k Plague Meds for a 1k people colony anyway; but when i switched it off, i forgot about doing so and had to reload, cause, well, no one alive anymore.

A limit like for water would be nice. (for all chem. boosters too!)

You can idle the pumps and turn off booster production. Might need a little less set n' forget there mate :steamhappy:

eh, the pumps idle themselves after a certain amount of water/colonist is reached. I meant that i want this function for the boosters and vacc. too.

one of the bottom left Icons opens the overall inventory. You can delete the goods you got too much (water for example) by holding shift and click on the good.

i knew that. But its still a waste to produce something just to throw it away, and in the game it is annoying to have 20 extra clicks every 10 minutes.
Plague vaccine is only needed when treating people, otherwise it just stockpiles; but you dont even get a warning about running out when you stopped producing it.

A easy way to fix it would be to implement Anno style storage limits. e.g. Instead of a T1 Storage Depo giving +2500 of any-and-everything-storage just make it give +200 to the limit of all goods and start each good capped at like 200. That way all farms, pumps and factories would never produce more then you wanted.

I usually just build as many large storehouses as I can, and if there's a glut of nanites late in the game, take advantage of those.
