Off Center Mouse Cursor
The mouse cursor is off center for where you want to click to where you actually click. About half an inch off. Is there an in game cursor that is suppose to appear? Otherwise its off by quite a bit.

We've never seen that. Can you tell us what resolution you're playing in, and whether it's set to Fullscreen, Borderless Fullscreen, or Windowed?

I'd imagine it maybe a scaling issue from the Desktop.

A solution maybe as simple as minimising and maximizing the game (ALT ENTER).

Give it a go, hope it helps...

I'm playing in Full Screen on 1980 1080 I have a video that shows the problem im experiencing as well. Ill try what Slim said right now though. Here is the video https://youtu.be/zMVffzwekow

Yeah its definitely a scaling issue as it worked when not full screen however I would like to have it work fullscreen

Not sure whether your on AMD or NVidia, but might be worth checking there is no scaling set on the driver and it's NOT set to override game.

ON Nvidia control panel it's under Adjust Size & Position, not sure on AMD though.

Try and keep it set to aspect ratio and make sure you have selected your native screen resolution, you may want to check in game options too as they may have some.

I couldn't see any alternative settings in NVidia Experience so I guess this may not be supported.

Hope this helps.

I have seen that the game still has the windows cursor, shouldnt the game have its own?

SgtKeeneye - I don't see any evidence of the cursor being off in the video you posted.

Everything really looks OK to me from watching it ... Do you have a timestamp of something showing the issue?

I DO see that at the moment you mention it in the video (02:56), you're zooming in and out and it pans a bit while zooming based on the cursor position ... try zooming in and out while the mouse is at various positions on the screen and you should see the effect.

Could that be what you're seeing?

Here I took a screen shot, had to make the video private until next week because of an embargo misunderstanding. Unfortunately it doesn't show my mourse but my cursor is actually played over the mining scructures icon http://imgur.com/a/eAHtQ When I'm not fullscreen everything lines up fine however

Thanks for the info! We'l investigate ASAP ...

Believe I have figured out the issue and its probably pretty unique. I run Windows 7 OS i have my task bar on the side of my sceen instead of the bottom like most users. When my task bar was on the side i noticed the resoulion was putting a black bar on my other monitor. When i moved my task bar back to the bottom i no longer had the off center cursor issue and the black bar was gone. It seems my task bar was causing my cursor to registar in a diffirent location than it actually was and was cutting off a part of the resolution?. I can record both my monitors later tonight and share an unlisted video to show the issue as i can reproduce it easily

Thanks for letting us know!

Definitely caused by having Windows taskbar on the side instead of bottom. Devs, you could never be bothered to fix this?

To be fair to the dev's it's really a Windows issue and Microsoft are unlikely to fix, even if it was in Windows 10.... or 11.... that's the way they work. I had issues if you had scaling turned on for the desktop, could alter the game cursor in some titles.

Also their latest in Windows 10 is to alter the microphone volumes if you record like me, when you alter the volume of a monitor that isn't in use at the time.

Good old Windows, guess they shouldn't have got rid of their beta testing team all those years ago...

To solve the problem, just set to "Borderless Window" in video settings.
