Unfortunately, SMILE GAME BUILDER contains default 3D models and illustrations. However, you could import your drawings and 3D models to make your game world for your liking.

I'm loving this engine so far but I would love if it had a character generator just like RPG MV has. It would push the engine forward a lot.

This would be great! I know how to edit the textures and 3D model myself, but for basic NPCs, something like that would be fantastic!

How long was rpg maker out before they added character generator? like 20 years?
RPG maker is overrated.

that was in a different time. i think the devs are smart enough to understand their competition. People have created some amazing games with RPG maker. It's a great program. People just need to use it properly.

A character creator would be great. I tried retexturing a character to make him look different. It was a pain. The cube man is OK if you're good at modeling but I am not. Also, when I added my newly retextured character he seemed unable to animate in Playtest. Adding assets seems a bit confusing.
