First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank you for your incredible interest and participation in the ZERO Rush event.

Since the event began, many Ascenders have reached the current level cap of 5,000,000 far more quickly than we anticipated. The remarkable skill and passion you have demonstrated have exceeded all our expectations, and the wide range of opinions and feedback you shared throughout the event has also been invaluable in helping us improve the game’s operation and content going forward.

To celebrate your outstanding achievements and express our gratitude, we have decided to make several changes to the event.

We have decided to grant the “1st Place Reward” to every Ascender who reached level 5,000,000 through normal gameplay.

As many players have reached the maximum level, it has become difficult to maintain the event’s original purpose of “competing for positions on the leaderboard.”

We sincerely apologize, but the ZERO Rush event currently taking place on Steam will end earlier than originally scheduled.

Based on the passion and feedback we witnessed throughout this event, we are actively considering raising the maximum level in the game or removing the level cap altogether, allowing you to take on even greater challenges in the future.

Rewards will be distributed based on the results of a thorough review and verification of internal game logs by the development team.

※ Please note that reward eligibility is determined through a review of our internal game logs. If you reached Level 5,000,000 but were not listed on the leaderboard, our internal logs could not verify that the record was achieved through normal gameplay.

Another day, another update, another round of bugs to resolve!

We will continue to fix things up as quickly as possible and continue to shape the best Ascend to ZERO experience. A lot of this has been possible due to the community providing reports and flagging up potential issues. Please continue to letting us know how we can improve the game via the CS forms found here, on Discord in the appropriate channels[discord.gg], or in the Steam discussions. Thank you! 

• Fixed an issue where defeating the final boss while dying at the same time (or just beforehand) could prevent progression.

• Fixed an issue where the Alien Sword Hilt's was being negatively affected as it's quality was improved.

• \[DLC] Fixed an issue where VFX from the Supporter Pack where not displaying as intended.

• Fixed an issue where projectiles from the Blazing Heat Shell weapon were not registering hits as intended.

• Fixed an issue where the final boss' second phase had more invincibility periods than intended.

• Fixed an issue where in certain circumstances, pressing Tab causes the UI to not function as intended. 

• Fixed an issue where certain Tech Chips' SFX (ie. Explosive Turret) are louder than intended.

• Fixed an issue where in certain circumstances, monsters from special encounters in Stage 3 would disappear, preventing players from obtaining rewards.

• Fixed an issue where in certain circumstances, using Blossom Blade's bleed-stacking Weapon Tech Chips can cause the game to crash.

• Fixed an issue where in certain circumstances, defeating Mimesis while using Blossom Blade's bleed-related Weapon Tech Chips together with the Boomerang Slot Module can cause the game to crash.

• Fixed an issue where in certain circumstances, using the Recall Blade to move across certain rooms may cause the player to be positioned incorrectly.

• Added new acquisition methods for items that previously only appeared in the Shop/Score Shop, making it easier to complete the Handbook.

• There is an issue when picking up Slot Module chips, the description does not state which slot the Slot Module chip affects. 

• There is an issue where after defeating the final boss of the game in Stage 4, if time is paused for too long during the ending cutscene, the dialogue sequence repeats.

• There is an issue where after achieving the true ending, the correct dialogue does not play in certain circumstances.

• There is an issue where during the true ending, in certain circumstances attack effects may remain.

• There is an issue in certain circumstances when the Time Machine upgrades are reset through Gabriella, the saved Time Machine loadout may not be adjustable. 

• There is an issue in certain Tech Chip selection screens where certain Tech Chips do not have the correct VFX.

• There is an issue where in certain circumstances on Stage 4, enemies fall through the floor preventing progress. 

• There is an issue where in certain circumstances, Time Fragments stored in the storage may not be withdrawn and used.

• There is an issue where in certain circumstances, extracting Time Fragments from gear while the inventory is full will cause the extracted Time Fragments to drop on the floor and cannot be picked up.

• There is an issue where certain Weapon Tech Chips' stacked effected reset when unequipping and re-equipping the Weapon Tech Chips. 

• There is an issue if the "Auto Equip/Pick Up Items" is enabled and an item is dropped, then the "Auto Equip/Pick Up Items" option is turned off, the item can no longer be picked up. 

• There is an issue where dashing into certain areas of the map may cause the player to remain stuck.

• There is an issue where in certain circumstances, damage cannot be dealt as intended to enemies. 

• There is an issue where if the Inventory key is remapped to Tab, other Tab-related key bindings are not updated as intended. 

• There is an issue where the intro scenes do not progress as intended. 

• There is an issue where in specific circumstances the V-Sync feature does not work as intended. 

• There is an issue where in certain circumstances, weapons do not reload as intended. 

• There is an issue where during specific special encounters, in specific circumstances certain bosses may spawn in a way that prevents progress.
