Agents... Where do I get them?

I've completed 100+ missions in this game, and have yet to see an agent as a reward, let alone for hire.

So, where are there? How do I get them?

agents are also part of the space labs headquarters.

once you have it some taxi missions (lightbulb icon) or defend station missions (red crosshair) can reward you with a agent. the missions description will list the agent under the reward for the mission.

Sometimes agents are discovery points rewards. Their price is random (120,000-180,000 range) and the number or actions seems to be random too (5-8 actions)
