Question : UI scale mod or ways to improve it

Hell the modder community !
If there is a nice modder who can look on a UI scale mod or give a tip to improve it i will be happy !
I play X3FL on my laptop but qa an old guy my eyes are not as good as they were in the past.
On X4 i can play on my TV and the UI can be scaled, so i can read the content, maybe its possible to do it with a mod for X3FL, if yes, you will make an happy old guy.
I am pretty sure that i am not alone with this need as many old guys me play video games too :)

The X3 engine never had any UI scaling options and as far as I'm aware there are no mods that can add it in. The game is just too old for modern monitors. Anything beyond a 1080 screen, or any small or distant screen, is going to create problems.

you can change the font to a slightly bigger one.
i had an old mod lying around from Darkslimus from 2016 and i am using the large_font_trebuchet10.

it's not much, but better than nothing. it does not mark your game as modified and is purely a UI change and can be deleted any time. there should be 3 different fonts available.

just search in google for ' x3 Bigger font for easy reading '

2k is fine, but definitely do not use 4k, i cannot read anything with my 32inch 4k monitor, i guess you will need 50inch monitor to be comfortably reading the text, lol

ouuuu wow, nice screen...

use fullHD instead of 2k/4k the game looks still amazing even in ONLY 1920x1080 and text is much easier to read....

i tried but the UI don’t scale.
years ago i had a way to change that but i don’t even remember it.
it was a little patch that changed the UI scale.
the toolbar was bigger and commands much easy to read.
Text box were large, there was also. little bugs with map but nothing really important.
i trusted that an old player had it on his hard drive still but it look like not.
