Touch is a lot more streamlined and less in-depth than the full version.

Personally i have only played classic (touch) for the last few years as i find it better than the normal version .

Some differences -

No team talks during matches ( still have monthly team meeting and the odd chat)
A lot less talking to the press
No dealing with players moods often and a lot less chatting with them
You can insta result matches whenever you want with touch , which i love , especially for pre-season

One big feature not in touch version is 'tactical familiarity' , your players ( and the AI teams ) do not have to learn tactics .I hate this feature myself so i am glad not to have it .

Also i dont think you cna play multiplayer with touch but not sure

Touch is basically FM/CM from years ago before they added most of the interaction stuff with players and the media . So i guess it depends whether you like that part of the game or not.

Looks like all the DLC is just cheats for money for this game

the orignal FM 17 is horrendous

one minute ur team are performing amazingly well and playing consistent, UNTIL the game decides to screw u over and turn the odds against u

i suppose its a good thing as people get tired of winning constantly, but when u go from top of the league, to suddenly drawing and losing 7 games in a row, it can get frustrating, all due to the new AI and the odds stacked against you, Sports Interactive thinks this create a more realistic career, which it doesnt btw, because generally speaking any team playing good football during the course of the league, nine times out of ten finish top or there abouts

however some saves wont turn the heat up until ur 4th season or even ur 10th season, but for me it has always been my first season,

i will be playing touch from now on, as i believe when i tried it in FM 16 version it was much more fluent , more football & less bullcrap to deal with, also the odds never suddenly changed against u like i described above ^^ was like having a full league of R.Madrid copies and barcelona copies all of a sudden lol:steamhappy:

Yeah agreed look at leicester they started amazing last season then they go and win it, this is one of the reasons why i got touch this year because it feels more real.

director of football negotiates with players to renew the contracts. it was so stressed to do each player every year so easier to play for me.

I bought the normal one. Then, when i check my library i have both versions. Why is it like that?

the touch version has the same playable leagues? or less?

same playable leagues. Another difference is you don't hire individual coaches and scouts, you just have a head of coaching and head of scouting.

If you buy the normal one you get the touch version free. But you can buy just the touch version for less.
