Can't start a game with advanced setup

Hi there,

having an issue where I cannot start a game with the advanced setup button. To be exact, the only button that slightly works is the "Quick Start" button, and that is only clickable on very few pixels on the side. Neither "Advanced Setup" nor "Cancel" and the tip-icon can be clicked no matter how lovingly I try to caress them.
If I click any of the buttons that aren't working, the FM17 window loses its focus.

I run the game in borderless windowed mode, Windows 10.

If you change the screen from say full screen display mode to Windowed or Maximised Borderless Windowed via the preferences, does it make any difference?

Thanks for your response. Going to give it another shot today and will update the post.

I've had a similar issue with CIV 6, where the bottom right of the game was not clickable at all. The cause was Origin, it for some reason had a small window in the bottom right reserved to itself. It was invisible but whenever you clicked it, the currently "fullscreened" window would lose its focus.
I'm hopeful this was the issue :)
