Mouse cursor problem

I am encountering a very annoying problem where the mouse cursor disappears when i start fm17 on windowed mode, and would only appear when it is on fullscreen. I have tried changing mouse pointer options as well as changing to GPU processing to software but to no avail. Hoping someone could help!

I'd suggest running on maximised borderless windowed display mode for now - it may also be worth making sure you graphics card drivers are fully up to date.

Thanks, will try that out later tonight. I also found a different fix to it by zooming out to 95% on the interface option and everything goes back to 'normal'. Hope that helps if anyone else is also having this problem.

Hello nbrocky; I'm experiencing nearly the same problem. When I start and begin to set up the game, from the very beginning the mouse cursor is invisible and I can't even click on "accept licence".... then I discovered that the cursor is in fact active, but won't show but I managed to guess the right spot to click on. But then when I arrived at the set up with my personal data, it was impossibile to continue! Any idea how to solve the problem? Thanks!

My mouse cursor will not appear on game startup. Very frustrating. I have GTX 1060 with updated driver on an i7-5820k and was hoping to play this game on a blazing setup. Unfortunately, best experience is not possible. Did the cache delete and still didn't work. Now I have to play in windowed mode.

Has a 'real' solution been found to this problem? I'm encountering the same problem and I've tried all the things that have been suggested above. The only thing that's working for me is to start FM, try to clear cache (without cursor that is), than close FM, verify the integrity of the files in Steam and than start FM again and than the mouse cursor does show. It's not too much of a problem really but still it's kind of an annoying thing to do every time I want to play FM.

Are you running anything custom in-game per chance? Or making any specific changes (other than switching to windowed mode) via the preferences?

I just went back to play this game months later because I gave up on it. Still have the same issue. No special settings at all. Just wanted to install and play. Not working.
