Let us know how you get on. Thanks.
Thanks. I've checked and updated my DirectX, Net Framework and Graphics Card Driver. And I don't have any antivirus software except the windows defender itself. I got confused really and I can't find any .dmp files, I can't even find the folder.
By the way, other games like Civilization V or XCOM2 run perfectly, I dont't think the running enviroment or hardware configure unable to satisfy FM17.
if it works, quit the game, remove the "--reset_preferences" from the launch options command line, and run the game again.
Thank you, but it didn't work.
God, it works, man.
I ran it as admin, then I found my DirectX9 was damaged. I fixed it and OK.
But it weired that why can my other games run well with DirecrX9 damaged?
Anyway, thank you so so much!! Sorry for troubling!
Thanks.
I ran the fm.exe as admin, and it couldn't start with an error code 0xc000007b. I Google it and it told me it's the DirectX9 problem. After I followed the steps you showed me to reinstall DirectX9, FM17 could run.
Thank you~~
You can't just uninstall and reinstall DirectX - that's the point. We have steps in this post advising users how to fix your DirectX and wondered if he had done so - https://community.sigames.com/faq/football-manager-2017/84_how-to/89_pc/how-to-update-my-directx-and-net-framework-to-the-latest-versions-pc-r227/
Glad to hear you're up and running. Thanks for letting us know.
