Lost save

Loaded up FM today to find all of my saves gone. 2 seasons with Villa, no clue what happened. Not in the games folder, done a spotlight search. Anything else I can do?

Saves can't be deleted except for manually - are you sure you were saving them to that folder location? Where is your default location set to? You can change it by following the instructions here - https://community.sigames.com/faq/football-manager-2017/84_how-to/88_universal/how-to-change-the-sports-interactive-folder-location-universal-r224/

Ok I've done that so hopefully the next save won't get lost, but no clue where the Villa save is. Same thing happened with a Scotland save. Closed the game at night, opened back up the next day and save is nowhere to be seen.

Are you sure you haven't been saving them to the Cloud? Have you checked the Cloud tab which you can see if you click 'Load Game'?

That's very strange. Unless the save failed they should be somewhere on your system, but as you say you haven't been able to locate them. Let us know if you have any further issues since you've made the changes above. Thanks.

I had this happen to me. Haven't played for a month, tried to load up the game today and found my save files vanished. Pretty sure I was saving them both locally and on cloud... both are totally empty, as it my tactics folder. 110 hours down the tube I guess.

I have had a similar issue. This is going to sound extremely strange and probably for the developers impossible. I have just updated the game through Steam and loaded up my last game I was playing. It loaded up ok but loaded up a save from November 2016, when my last save was in December 2016. In terms of my game I was up to my second season and it was December 2017, but now my save has my game back into my first season in January 2017. Essentially all my saves are now saying the last time I saved my games was in early November which I know is not right. Has this happened to anyone else?

This happend to me as well recently, i was experimenting with having amanager on every team in the MLS (im a bit wierd :P) and thngs were going great the entire season until i couldent load up my file. I was so close to finishing the season and its been fun experimenting with the game, but now i cant get it back. I tried following the intrustions to restore it but it didnt work, is there any other way i can get it back?

This has happened to me today - any luck getting them back - I have 2 x 150hr plus saves that I am not happy have disssapeared
