Uninstall in-game editor
I recently bought the in-game editor, but now there's no way to get rid of it. I've tried reinstalling the game without the editor (right mouse on game > View downloadable content > untick the in-game editor DLC), but there's no way I can get rid of the in-game editor. What do I do in order to turn of the in-game editor?

when you start a new game, you can tick "dont use editor".
else, go in your "TOOLS" tab under library, and find fm editor, then uninstall it

Thank you for your comment, but the thing is, I want to be able to use the editor once in a while to check some stats and see how I've progressed. If I tick "don't use editor" at the start of the game, I will not be able to use it at all. If I disable the editor during the game, only the icon on the top right of the screen will be greyed out, but when I scout for players, I can still search by hidden attributes and in-game editor data.

The in-game editor is not in the TOOLS tab, but when you right click on the game, you can click "View Downloadable Content" and it let's you uninstall the in-game editor, but when you try to do that, nothing actually really happens.

The question is how to completely remove the in-game editor. I cannot figure it out.

as i told you, go into tools and uninstall it

As I told you, the in-game editor is not in Tools, you're confused with the database editor. The in-game editor is in "View Downloadable Content" and toggling the check box does not actually do anything.

oh, you're right ;)
you can untick "show in game editor" in your preferences tab.

Sorry for the confusion ^^
