How can I change a player status?

I want to set Raheen Sterling as a Key player but I don't know how. He is a rotation player atm. Can you help me?

Right mouse button on a players name > transfers > transfer status

Or you offer a new contract to the player ^^

Thanks man! I found out about offering new contracts, and gave Raheem, Sane, Stones all new ones with more payroll, but all I had to do was to set the status in the transfer page, without having to give more money to them.

Yep, but also think about the consequences, to set a player from rotation to keyplayer will let the player feel important and he will ask for a new contract sooner. If you change a keyplayer to rotation he might be very unhappy about his lost status in the team ;)

As Man City, I plan on making the young players like Jesus, Sane, Sterling my main front three, so I set them as Key or First team.

Ok, thats fine, but not really necessary for young players. Keyplayers want much more money in a new contract as a rotation player for example ;) !! So my young talents stay rotation players until they are 24, so that my wage budget is under control. But im playin with 1. FC Köln, so for me its more important as for a big club like man city ;)

heheeh definitely true, I have like unlimited money and 240M+ every transfer, that is one of the reasons I splash cash just to keep the players happy. But, what you say makes sense, will definitely do it when I buy Mbappe or Verane.

If you dont know where to waste money, buy old players that u can use as role models for your young talents. Huge boost if they fit the role models character ;) !! But this role model thing is another big topic u should read about by yourself, its too much for me to write about and i also dont remember all the things. But if you search this forum you`ll maybe find a conversation between me and a admin where he gave some hints about role models ;)
