False nine and trequestista

Hi
Can someone tell me, what is the use and tactical advantages of using either the above role for strikers?
What formation is good to use, what type of striker to use.
I experiment and found out that, the striker fall deep leaving no one to finish after the winger cross.

false nine is a guy who will catch balls far from the box to create opportunities, play that whithout an attacking midfielder, else they will bump one into each other ^^ Messi is a good example of false nine.

Trequartista will just wait for the ball in the middle of the opponents, try it with a tall or fast guy, else he will be entirely useless...

But in my own opinion, both are useless compared for example to a pair "target man + poacher"; a triangle "2 complete wing backs + complete forward" or so...

Since both my strikers are out for a long time due to injury, im left putting one of my ACM as strikers. But, he so deep, no one can finish at the end of a cross.
Hence the question.

oh, i get it ;) well, do you have good wingers to put them as inside forwards ? thus you can tell them to go to the box to catch the pass your AMC/striker will do. The striker won't score, the inside forwards will, i think.

So to utilize 2 inside forward as my main goal contributer, i should put the striker as false nine?

yes you can, or you can play without a striker ^^ but you dont have a good young to make him score ?

I do, but he more suited to playing ACM
