Yeah most people find their 'favourite' version wasn't necessarily the best version, just the one where they had the most time and the save game they connected the most with.
For me had an amazing save in FM05 and also a really good one I think in FM12, but for me hand on heart FM17 is the best in terms of the AI, in-game balance and just overall game design.
Yeah, FM seems to be the best on many points, and maybe it's because i do not want anymore to play with big teams that i find it buggued.... Maybe if i played it like i played previous FMs i'll find it the best !
fm05 was my first fm game. with very little knowlegde of tactics etc, i could win the league without having the best team.
