But who the hell are the rest of these people?

All the characters are from their respective visual novel games from Nitro+ except for Aino Heart who is a guest character from Arcana Heart.

Also, there's no character here from Non Non Biyori

Sonico has her friend Ouka from the same series, the girl in the flying cross. Saya from Song of Saya another series of visual novels by Nitroplus, and Ethica from Tokyo Necro another series by Nitro. The others I do not recognize as they are from very obscure series usually from light and visual novels.

To make it clear, eroge (where many of the characters in this game seem to have come from) can range all the way from containing erotic scenes for one reason or the other, to being full on porn. Hence to bracket them all under "porno cartoons" is quite unfair imo, as by the same token one would also claim that The Witcher franchise is also just porn which it's not.

Saber: Fate/Zero (The reason they used the Fate/Zero incarnation is because Gen Urobuchi works for Nitro+ but helped in writing the Fate/Zero novels for Type-Moon. So it's sorta like Type-Moon allowed Saber in because of this and only if they make note that it's her Fate/Zero incarnation - also has an anime series)

I'd like to note that her origin is actually Zanmataisei Demonbane, or the PS2 remake, Kishin Houkou Demonbane. Kishin Hishou Demonbane is the sequel of those. Another Blood, however, does come from Kishin Hishou.

Never played a visual novel or a jrpg but I really dig fighting games and the art style is pretty cool. It's really fun :)
