This game has easy chains for comboing between weak and strong attacks, two assist characters, airdashing, a vanishing guard and proyectile invulnerable rolling for defense.
Characters can double jump and grab in the air.
You use 4 attack buttons, 1 for defense and rolling, and the other buttons are macros for assists or bursting for escaping enemy combos.
if you like anime style fighters, and don't mind the lack of males, this is a must try imo
Basically this.
This is a good way to describe it. It's just... fun.
Besides the button layout it really isnt at all like Arcana Heart. Aquapazza is far closer. Funny enough, yet another Examu game but the similarities are far closer than with AH. The speed, the more grounded fighting, the assists, the stage size. Plus it too is a porno crossover!
If you have a PS3, Aquapazzas a great buy. Its also cheap as hell at this point.

Aquapazza has a couple dudes in it though, which is pretty damn shocking to be honest
While not fair to the source material (or indeed all of the characters, since a few aren't even from Eroges), well, it's a thing.
As for the main thread's question: I kinda agree with the rest of y'all - design-wise it feels like Arcana Heart (and probably Aquapazza) when it comes to the feel of the timing of moves and whatnot. Gameplay is slightly reminiscent of Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, but with added anime (air-dashes, fancy cancels, etc.), giving it a fairly grounded feel despite having lots of crazy stuff happening on screen due to the assissts.
I played Arcana Heart 3 Love Max after playing this and realized how much more technical Arcana Heart 3 is. This is a simplified fighter.
So looks and gameplay are decieving.
