Cybernetic hacking enemies - how they work?
Sometimes an enemy will die after shooting at it for 2 seconds, sometimes I can fire to a minute and they don't die. I don't see the difference at which side I'm shooting at them or at which phase of their attack I do. So if they have some sort of invulnerability IDK how it works.
Even the big scorpion-like - sometimes dies in 10s sometimes can't kill it for 5 minutes.
I also don't see any feedback on their hits, like different hit effect.

So how do they work?

Organic vs cyborg or robotic enemies are weak against different weapon types -- energy vs kinetic, plus armor piercing. There isn't a lot of visual feedback, no.

EDIT: I just realized you're talking about cyberspace. In cyberspace, some enemies have shields (ICE) that you have to break with the ICE drill weapon -- you pick it up in the level (looks a lot like the pulser weapon pickup, a pink cube, but it has a drill instead of a throwing star in it), and lock on and fire with right mouse by default on KBAM.

It's also worth noting that the attacks are projectiles. It's possible that their shots are canceling out yours on an individual shot basis.
