Defeat Shodan achievement "It's Over" did not pop at the end of the game. Did I miss something or is this still a bug?

I tried defeating Shodan twice and still nothing. Is it probably some other way Shodan must be defeated for this achievement to unlock?

I think it's simply a case of certain achievements not unlocking properly, I beat the game on full difficulty and nothing was unlocked.
Although some achievements that I couldn't get to unlock did unlock after the latest patch dropped, so I guess we'll just have to keep a save file and simply wait for another patch which hopefully will fix these sort of issues.

Okay. Coz I've seen posts where players were able to unlock them. I thought it must be a certain way the ending must be done to get this achievement. I'll probably do another playthrough with the latest patch.

Yes sir I did. Subsequent attempts were made in new Steam sessions. Did it unlock for you?

After latest update I tried to finish the game with an old save again aaaand nope - still dont have the achivos -_-

Oh man. I hope the devs will fix this soon within the next few patches. I will hold off pursuing the max difficulty achievement too. What a bummer.

Same. Just completed game on max. First playthrough was on 2-2-2-2, got most of achievements there. Now, completed 3-3-3-3, no "It's over", no "Don't forget to salt the fries", nothing.

I reported it as a bug a few days ago and have gotten confirmation that the devs are aware of it and working on it. Since it's just an achievement I doubt it's a very high priority fix, so it'll probably just get rolled into the next patch whenever that is.

I got the impression they weren't aware "Don't forget to salt the fries" is also bugged, but don't know for sure.

I completed the game on 2222 then 3333 and I'm still missing 'It’s Over' and
'Don’t Forget To Salt The Fries' (and 'I’ll See You Again, Hacker' but I guess that's because the other two haven't unlocked).

Beaten the game a bunch of times, a few of those 3-3-3-3, No "It's Over." Achievement for me neither. However, I did maybe find a workaround for the "Don't Forget To Salt The Fries" Achievement:

Saved game just before final cyberspace fight on 3-3-3-3, Finished that game then started a new game (on 3-3-3-3 but I don't think difficulty matters), played for a little bit (like 10min or something), then reloaded my previous 3-3-3-3 difficulty save and went though awful cyberspace fight again.

"Don't Forget to Salt The Fries" Achievement popped immediately after landing the final shot to SHODAN.
