Anyway, this is probably the best use for a logic probe in the game.
It can be kinda tricky to find the way in to the regen bay. It's entirely possible that players are unaware of it by the time they're blowing up antennae.
It is possible, but there's pretty good chance that most players activated regen bay at least on some level. I kinda forgot about them as I usually press quick load right after I die

same here. Solving puzzles was so fun, that i thought to myself "ehh... better keep one or two of those just to be sure". BIngo, i got killed and fortunatelly used a savegame to redo the whole thing.
Confirmed this works, thanks! Topped myself up and activated the shield prior to detonation and survived against the barrier.
